Do you have a nervous habit?

I talk my ass off. I dread that impending moment of awkward silence, I swear I can always hear it approaching, and will do anything to make sure it doesn't happen even if I come off as a bimbo comedian. When it becomes familiar, then I tune down to being only semi-talkative. It's when I'm silent with you, that's when you know I'm fully comfortable.

I'm the same! I hate dead silences in the presence of another person. I always feel like I have to fill it, even with completely useless inane things. That often makes me look like an idiot.

exactly! in my head it's like "ohshit i feel the silence coming QUICK reach in the verbal bag stat!"

i actually prefer the word ditz over bimbo, not that it makes much of a difference... but you get the idea, right?
